Answering a volley of questions posed by Archbishop Bernard Moras during his homily, the prelate said he was “impressed by the answers of the children and it reflects the commitment of the catechism teachers in the faith formation of the children”. Replying to the Archbishops question “how do you know God is merciful?” a ten-year old girl answered “We know it because God send his only begotten son Jesus Christ into the world to save us all”.  The prelate who was impressed, later in the day recalled the response of the child during his homily at St. Francis Xavier’s Cathedral where he presided to mark the close of the year of mercy.
